Helping others who are on their own is not always easy, meeting them in neutral space is often better.
That's why we promote the idea of a Community Hub. Where a community can have space to meet, share, organise and communicate.

A Community Hub should not be a in and out place, it should be a place to hang about, libraries for some people are such places, town centres and coffee shops are others. 

Building a network of commmunities is part of every councils agenda.

But it's not easy you need the right tools, a combination of tools which are not difficult to use and can be used by many.

Participating in a Community Hub is just one of the ways to combat isolation and lonlines, There is no pill or fast solution it's a curse on the young and the old, being isolated is a self feeding propagation being brought out requires help. The role of the community should be to help the isolated to join in.
